Archisman Panigrahi

Graduate student of Physics at MIT

Postdoctoral applications: I will be seeking postdoctoral positions during the Fall 2026 application season.

I am broadly interested in theoretical condensed matter physics. I study how collective quantum behavior gives rise to unexpected electronic and topological phenomena in condensed matter systems.

Explore my publications

My work is broadly centered on theoretical condensed matter physics, with interests spanning superconductivity, quantum transport, and topological matter.

  • Tunneling phenomena in unconventional superconductors
  • Excitonic condensates with broken time-reversal symmetry and their transport
  • Spin chirality in systems with spontaneously broken time-reversal symmetry
  • Electronic transport in two-dimensional systems and effects of Berry curvature
  • Topological phases of matter and quantum phase transitions
